Hematite and Galena Crystals on Tabular Pyrrotite
Pyrrotite is an iron sulfide mineral with small amounts of nickel and cobalt. This specimen, which measures approximately 2.5 x 1.5 in. was found at the Potosi Mine in Chihuahua in Mexico in the 1970's.
