The Gem Mine has been doing business in Bergen County, NJ for over 50 years. Established in 1970, The Gem Mine is a "down to earth" place to encounter and purchase beautiful specimens, decorative natural items, and unique jewelry.

We source our merchandise from suppliers and artists in the United States and across the globe- many of whom we've known for decades.

Since branching out onto online commerce in 2020, we are excited to continue sharing our passion for the natural world. Have a look around our collection here, and if there is anything you would like us to stock please feel free to ask.
